So the Sellers family was established on September 16th of the year 2000. Since then we have doubled in size adding to our existence two beautiful and amazing children that teach us new and incredible things daily. This is but a glimpse of who we are...enjoy!

A Bite Of The Ocean

Becky and I took the kids to the aquarium. We met Heidi, Maya and Zane there too. It isn't the greatest of aquariums, but the kids had a good time. Let's suffice it to say that after you have been to Sea World, this aquarium is a little like the difference between the Grand America and Bubba's Stop and Sleep. But rumor has it a new, very large aquarium is being built. The kids were so excited about the sea otters. That is, until Mason read the fine print and noticed they are due to the aquarium in January 2012.

There was a frog to climb on...that seemed to go well.

Watching the penguins was fun. Sooooo cute.

PENGUINS!

"Petting" the sting rays was a highlight.

Quite a pair.

Kids had fun, we saw some ocean life and created yet another memory together as the Combined Sellers.

First Holiday Together

It has been several weeks now since the Maryland Sellers merged with the Utah Sellers. We feel fortunate to get to know them better and most especially for the kids to make memories they will never forget. So far, Paul and Izzy get along as good as two 4 year olds can be expected. They laugh, sword fight and wrestle endlessly...and lets not forget, climb on, poke at, TALK to and chase Mason till their hearts content. In the words of our Mason, "Wow, I thought Izzy talked alot. With her and Paul together no one is ever NOT talking!" Awesome.

Carving pumpkins...but for the little kids, pumpkin painting.

So cute!

Superman likes his mom. Pocahontas, Ironhide and Iron Man just want candy.

Firebabies! They are getting SO big.

First we trick or treated in our neighborhood. Mason was really excited this year because there was no threat of getting shot. So, we just hit our street before heading to the Morreales.

The whole trick or treating gang (minus Superman). This is a "pre treating" photo. Right after eating "tarantulasagna" and making little mice to eat. (chocolate dipped strawberries with almond sliver ears and licorice rope tails.) Leave it to Rach! She handles the halloween party each year. The kids always have a blast.

Happy 4th Birthday Izzy

So our baby girl turned 4 a couple of weeks ago! Wow is she growing up fast and she is such a little firecracker. A big personality and she sure has daddy wrapped around her little finger. We love everything about her.

Catching up...

So this is way late, as usual, but at least I got it done. This is a quick glimpse of our summer vacation to SoCal with our best friends. We had a great time, great weather, kids had the time of there little lives. We look forward to many more to come!

Two families too young and stupid to realize why old people don't do this anymore.

The happiest place on earth they say...I would agree

A king and his queen!

Yummy...I'm talking about that beautiful blonde

Yummy again

A sign of things to come.

A couple of guys putting out the vibe, no seriously women were flocking like seagulls. It was crazy!

So much opportunity out there...

Truly what it is all about!

To Brighten Your Day...Or Creep You Out

2nd day of school went wonderfully. We hiked, caught bugs for science, wrote his journal entry (which will one day be a blog post all by itself), had our english lesson, read, did math, geography drills, listed to Johann Pachelbel for our composer study and practiced our Spanish words of the week. And, at some point Mason decided that his little friend of the reptile variety, needed an education too.

Yes, this is Brownie, on a leash.

Possibly less than thrilled.

I dont know about you...I am still laughing. And yes, that is a bell on her "jacket".

Ring That Bell

The end of August...the beginning of school...SUMMER'S ALMOST OVER!!! How did this happen? Either way, our summer was great, we had an outstanding time. Josh took quite a bit of time off for playing, yard work and more playing. We did lots of kid things, spent ample time on the front porch, jumping on the trampoline, taking trips to the splash park and pool and enjoyed every minute of it. But today we started school. That is exciting especially since I spent a significant portion of the last 3 months planning our year, organizing and scheduling. But alas, its complete and we are pumped. So here is the summer in review.

What would summer be without tons of bug hunts, duck feeding expeditions and trips to the mountains?

We had a blast barbecuing and hanging out with the best neighbors ever! Seriously.

Heart attack hikes.

Trips to the lake (that is now nearly within walking distance. Sweet!)

Fishing...

There was LOTS of swimming!

As a last minute farewell to summer Mason tested for Advanced Yellow Belt and passed!

FIRST DAY OF 3rd GRADE AND PRE PRE-SCHOOL : )

Even though she is momentarily looking sweet, something behind those baby brown eyes says, "yay for school! A whole new way to raz Mason"...doesnt it?

So, yay for a new school year, new challenges, and exciting times ahead in the Utah Sellers household.

Not Feeling Very Well

Well things around here have not been so pleasant the last couple of days. Izzy was sick a couple of days ago with it coming out of both ends and today (my only day off for the next week) I'm home taking care of my wife and son who are now taking turns running to the closest toilet. Yay for me!! Hopefully I dodged the bullet on this one or I'm totally screwed because I'm supposed to work the next four days straight. Either way, I shot a little home video of our house right now to share with you all. Finally...

I know many of you had probably given up hope on the Sellers family blog but don't worry because we are back and new and improved. I have totally redesigned the blog and will attempt to be more current with our posts. I would like to start by saying a lot has happened since our last post. We sold a house, moved, bought a house, went to Montana, went to Maryland, payed off some bills, worked on the new house, went to work, started a new business (Synergy Monkey LLC), and so on... So to start things out here are some new pictures of the kiddos we had taken just the other day. They are amazing kids and Amber and I love these pics because we feel it shows there personality so well.
